Kellie Sexton - Class of 2014

I graduated from the eighth grade at All Saints  in 2014, ten years ago now, and still frequently find myself grateful for all that was imparted to me during my time there!

Some of my fondest memories from my years at All Saints are the weekly enrichment opportunities we were given such as music, art, gardening, and so much more! I’ve come to so appreciate this whole-child approach to learning in my adulthood, as I feel it set me up for success in my academic future not just in my school work, but in communication with adults, teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving skills.

As a student at All Saints, not only were my pre-existing interests and skills given an opportunity to flourish and grow, but a safe and nurturing space was provided to approach new areas of intellect in fresh, fun, and challenging ways.

At All Saints, I felt known and understood by my peers and teachers; the various grade levels regularly interacting and collaborating being another special feature of an All Saints education that I feel positively influenced my interpersonal relationships in my furthered education and now in my career.

More special memories are from field trips to the U.S. Space and Rocket Center and to the Florida Everglades. These trips were educational and formative in many ways, but what I continue to take away from them even now is how they bonded my classmates and I together - the small class size at All Saints led us to feeling much more like family than just school mates, and I’m lucky to still be close to several of those friends today!

I now work as the Arts Education Coordinator for Rose Center Council for the Arts in Morristown and see daily the fruit of my All Saints education as I work with community members of all ages to bring arts programming to youth in the Lakeway Area. I trace a large number of my resources, skills, and relationships directly back to my early education at All Saints, as well as major areas of my creativity, confidence, and character. I count myself blessed to have been a part of the All Saints family!

Carley Santana - Class of 2024

All Saints Episcopal School is truly a gem. Now that I have started my high school career, I’m so thankful that I got the opportunity to grow and learn over my middle school years in All Saints. I’ve learned numerous lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my school career, as well as the rest of my life.

Exhibit friendship- I learned the complex art of creating healthy, happy, and meaningful relationships with my teachers and peers.

Demonstrate leadership- I learned how to be an appropriate leader, positively influence my peers in a group setting, and take a strong leadership role in any situation.

Embrace citizenship- I discovered what it means to be a positive and contributing member of a community.

Show empathy- I've gained the ability to empathize with others and provide authentic support and care.

Live with integrity- I've come to value my integrity and recognized that compromising it is never an option.

Honor perseverance- I developed the ability to persevere through any situation, whether familiar or unfamiliar, at any time.

Cultivate passion- I embraced the idea of approaching every situation with passion and giving it my utmost effort.

Strive for intellectual excellence- I developed a strong work ethic, always striving for excellence while maintaining a healthy relationship with my academics.

Finally, Grow in spirituality- I have always valued the Christian foundation of the school, as it taught me to embody God's values in all aspects of my life.

I live by these principles, and so many other things that all saints has taught me. Now in high school, I am thriving in every aspect of my life. I feel optimistic about my future, and I am deeply grateful to All Saints for everything they have done for me.
